Sirens

#10weeksofhorror writing challenge is upon us once more! My second offering comes in the form of poetry, but hopefully remains as gruesome as expected of a Halloween tale...

ps forgive me if my French is a little rusty...

Sirens

Her ghoulish teeth dripped with spit
Sharpened claws caked with grit
And still, she approaches
And still, you allow it

Her mouth expels hate and bile
Foul sounds behind a smile
And still, she approaches
And still, you allow it

Broken bones inside your ears
From screeches filled with tears
And still, she approaches
And still, you allow it

Crawling out from depths below
Cat like eyes pierce and glow
And then, she encroaches
And still, you don’t see it

She takes a whiff, just a sniff
Of your eau de corps stiff
And then, she encroaches
And still, you don’t see it

Her eyes spoke untold torture
Yet you chose to fuck her
And then, she encroaches
And still, you don’t see it

Her hands plunge into your chest
You’ll now find eternal rest
And now, bon appétit
But still, she needs to eat

A meaty bite your heart did serve
Feel that last dying nerve
And now, bon appétit
But still, she needs to eat

You refused to despise her
Just an appetizer
And now, bon appétit
But still, she needs to eat

J'ai bien mangé mon petit chéri
Merci pour votre offre
Mais je dois partir
Merci, et bonne nuit
